Is the Fibe app loan safe or not? Fibe is a platform, not a lender. Its Google Play listing names Social Worth Technologies Ltd as owner and says loans go through EarlySalary Services Pvt Ltd and partner NBFCs, and the app appears in a copy of RBI’s lending-app directory. Your safety rests on which NBFC signs your agreement.
On 19 October 2026 this desk read the Fibe Play listing, marked updated 16 October 2026, and GoCredit’s copy of RBI’s Digital Lending Apps directory, which says it was checked the same day.
Fibe app loan safe or not: who lends?
The eight missing names are missing from that copy only, which also warns that listings are self-reported on RBI’s CIMS portal, not validated by RBI and not an endorsement. A co-lending or other arrangement may explain the gap; nothing here says those NBFCs are unregistered.
Is Fibe RBI registered, and what does it cost?
The listing calls EarlySalary “RBI-registered”; we did not read RBI’s NBFC register, so that is the listing’s word. The headline says from 18%, yet the listing’s own example runs at 20%, and nothing on the listing caps the rate. Your loan agreement, not the store page, carries your APR.
Before signing, find the lender’s name on the agreement and match it against the directory, as our assessment of the DLA directory against the NBFC register explains. Check what contacts access the Play rule allows. The copy records Abhiroop Khairnar as grievance officer at grievance@fibe.in; if 30 days pass without a fix, the RBI complaint route applies.
The questions people ask
Is the Fibe app loan safe? Safety is not settled by a listing: Fibe appears in a copy of RBI’s Digital Lending Apps directory and its Play page discloses fees and a worked example. Whether your loan is safe depends on the NBFC named in your loan agreement, which you should match against RBI’s own registers before sharing documents.
Is Fibe RBI registered? Fibe is an app owned by Social Worth Technologies Ltd, which the directory copy records as a lending service provider, an agent, not a lender. The Play listing calls EarlySalary Services Pvt Ltd its RBI-registered NBFC arm. That is the listing’s description; check the lender itself on RBI’s NBFC register.
Who gives the loan on Fibe? An NBFC, not the app. The Play listing says loans go primarily through EarlySalary Services Pvt Ltd and names 13 partner NBFCs in total; the directory copy lists six regulated entities deploying Fibe. The listing does not say which one lends on a given loan, so read the name on your agreement.
Not financial advice: we assert no firm’s licence status. Check any lender with the regulator yourself, not a badge in an app.
